However, Highway Dept telling MRTA and BSR about the new drainage trench along the footpaths as they are going to convert the drainage trench along Sri Nakharin road into Island before erecting pillars

For the case of pink monorail (34.5 km at 54 billion Baht), Highway Dept allow MRTA and BSR to use Laksi Highway Office to construct Laksi station but they have to redesign to minimize the usage of the highway dept land.

After the construction of Orange line from Minburi to Thailand cultural center along with Pink monorail from Kae Rai to Minburi and Yellow monorail from Lad Phrao to Samrong, the next on the line is the Western extension of Orange line MRT from Thailand Cultural Center to Bang Khun Nont - 16.4 km at 110 billion Baht and Southern extension of Purple line MRT from Tao Poon to Krunai (Kanchanaphisek ring) via Rat Boorana - 23.6 km at 131,171 Million Baht.

For the case of Orange line MRT, the construction started in front of Mistine company in Saphan SOong district on 10 July 2017

However, MRTA will have to ensure that the underwater tunnel across chao Phraya section of Orange line would not harm the structure of Phra Pinklao Bridge while the underwater tunnel across chao Phraya section of Purple line would not harm the structure of Phra Pokklao Bridge and the underground section of Purple line near Mahaisawan intersection would not harm Rama 3 Bridge

MRTA now asking cabinet to approve a quick land exappropriation within 60 days instead of waiting for Land exappropriation act which takes 2 years to finish.

Orange Line Construction given above as "Started 10th July 2017" and today is only the 30th June. I know from CK that they already started design and some ground works in May 2017. Should this read "will start 10th July"? or should it read 'has started 10th June 2017'? I guess they meant 10th June 2017 as an official start date.

There are a few canals in Bangkok that have regular boat services within the canals
1. Saen Saeb canal from Phadung Krung Kasem canal (Mahanak intersection) to Nongchok - 45.45 km - with boat service that go along Saen Saeb canal and Mahanak canal from Phan Fah bridge to Pratoo Nam, Pratoo Nam Wat Sribunrueng and Wat Sribunrueang to Minburi - connect with Ram Khamhaeng station of Airport link and Phetburi subway station / Makkasan station of Airport Link - and of course Ratchathwee station / National stadium station - even though it is quite far away
2. Phra Khanong canal from Phra Khanong to Iam Sombut - 9 km - connecting with Onnut station and Phra Khanong station - but a little too far away
3. Phasee Charoen canal - from Wat Paknam Phaseecharoen to Phetkasem 69 but we hope that it will eventually extend all the way to Wat Nong Khaem (end of BKK city limit) and Rachinee Pier to connect with Sanam Chai station

A bit cliche, no? It looks nice and at least it's not a generic subway. I guess the Hong is better than advertisements. The Chinatown station though, wow!

this is due to the requirement from Rattanakosin Island Board though - and of course Yaowaraj area has the northern limit at Wat Mungkorn Kamalawat - and Issaraphab station has used Hong theme since it is closed to Wat Hong

Oh, BTW, MRTA has made a settlement with BMA on several issues if they want Pink monorail, Yellow Monorail, Orange line MRT to construct without troubles:

1. Yellow line - demolition of the old Bang Kapi flyover to allow the construction of yellow line Monorail and Bang Kapi station with connection to the Mall Bang Kapi and build the new one to replace the old flyover

2. Orange line MRT - MRTA and BMA agree in principal that both BMA elevated way from Lam Salee to Klong Bang Chan which passed Lam Salee and Klong Ban Mah subway station will have to be build at the same time and the elevated section of Orange line will have to go up by 8 more meters - need at least 250 million Baht to do so

3. for the case of Pink Monorail, Consul Dept, Administration court and Custom Dept (those who rent Government complex) have raised the issue of the Government Complex station that obstruct the front - harming their building fengshui - need to make a real change by moving closer to DSI building
