Well, MoF has purchased the land at Park Nai Loed around 1921 and it has been transferred to British legation in 1922 in exchange for the land which become General Post Office (opened in 1940) though.

Well, that section of Wireless road seems to have no rows of trees though ...

For the case of US Embassy as well as US Embassy resident on Wireless road, only those who manage to cover the land plots in question with American gold eagle bullion coins would be able to purchase at THAT price.

that expressway is running along Mae Nam cargo line though.

I walked along that section of Wireless Road last month and the trees were still there despite construction of a new hotel/serviced apartment.

This is where the electrical busbars run which supply the motor units with electricity. The outside ducts carry the track and signal cables.

BTS will finally construct Suksa Wittaya station (S4), as a contractor has already been chosen.

The cost is 650 million baht, where BTSGIF and AIA will each pay half of it. Construction of this station will take 18 months and will have a skywalk linking AIA building.

Any updates on what will happen to the Saphan Taksin station. Is it going to be closed or will they reconstruct the platforms to eliminate the single track setup (I know there is some issues given the close proximity of the roadway)? It would be a shame to lose this station since it is very convenient to connect to the Chao Praya boats.

BMA will not close the station, but will demolish the current waiting platform in order to lay down the second track, then Taksin BTS station will be constructed one meter on each side, which takes up two lanes of Taksin bridge. The bridge will then be expanded to compensate. The study is expected to be completed by December, afterwards it will be presented to the Department of Rural Roads for approval, and then it will be presented to the Ministry of Transport for approval, before BMA can proceeds with the construction.

this kind of boat should be applied on Saen Saeb boat service - extension to Minburi or even Nong Chok though. However, the application of this kind of boats on other section of Saen saeb canal should be scaled down to fit the small bridges in Bangkok city center

Agreed, but if they put advertising on the outside of the trains (similar to BTS) then it will become more difficult to see out.
