Antwerp - Lange/Long Wapper

In Antwerp, a city on the river Schelde in Flanders, the Dutch-speaking part of Belgium (Western Europe), they are planning a large project. Every day, ten thousants of cars and trucks get stuck in the very, very big traffic jams on the Ring of Antwerp, or R1, for insiders

. Antwerp is an important harbor city, and that creates all the traffic.
Somme smart people have found the solution. The combination of a large bridge and a new tunnel unther the river Schelde. The Oosterweelconnection.

But.... there are lots of protest against this bridge... Belgians like complaining... because of the pollution. And the new "rage": fine dust.

Fine dust = particulate matter (PM10, PM2,5)

Already an issue because of the huge industries and shipping in Antwerp. Traffic is only a small contributor here.
