Antwerp - Lange/Long Wapper

In Antwerp, a city on the river Schelde in Flanders, the Dutch-speaking part of Belgium (Western Europe), they are planning a large project. Every day, ten thousants of cars and trucks get stuck in the very, very big traffic jams on the Ring of Antwerp, or R1, for insiders. Antwerp is an important harbor city, and that creates all the traffic.
Somme smart people have found the solution. The combination of a large bridge and a new tunnel unther the river Schelde. The Oosterweelconnection.

But.... there are lots of protest against this bridge... Belgians like complaining... because of the pollution. And the new "rage": fine dust.

Already an issue because of the huge industries and shipping in Antwerp. Traffic is only a small contributor here.
