Ahhhh I see, you got a strong point with the roads being parallel/perpendicular, it will allow a lot better flow and be easier for cars to merge with traffic. Roads are going to be very important with Phnom penh and the city, especially since the capital is already so congested.

Btw, great update Chadster93

I think this is a different project on the other side of the river, Camko is in the northeast.

I had to delete more than 20 posts. Please avoid off topic stuff here, i.e.: non projects & construction related discussions.

Why because people are not capable of thinking outside the square glass building?

I will be honest and say this is a joke.

A few updates from last week when I was in Phnom Penh:

Canadia is topped out and the ground level area is nearing completion.

Steel is rising on the Gold Tower 42:

Not much has happened at the International Finance Center, still looks like an open lot with little digging.

Yeah, it looks like Monivong Blvd, at least the center divider of the street does. hahaha. Guess I am not too familiar with the different street numbers. Thanks for the info.

WonderlandPark, great photos! Looks like GT42 is an all, or mostly, steel structure skyscraper? If that is the case, no wonder why the project is freakishly expensive.....

^So they increased the number of floors from 33 to 38......

I think that design is very bold, especially for a city like Phnom Penh, a complete contrast to anything that is currently in the city. Do you have photos of the current construction site of Vattanac Tower?

All the project are magnificent, please get them completed very soon to attract the retired people from Korea and Japan. They will buy those apartments and condominiums because they would prefer to live in Cambodia since it is cheap, free, interesting to live compared to other country in the region.

Don't worry, it won't look the same as the one going up in Toronto, Canada because it has now become the "I tower"

New rendering of Toronto "I .....I mean L Tower"

Although the base of this high-rise has been changed, it's still nice but the first rendering was a lot better. It still looks similar to the Vattanac Tower that is going to be built in Cambodia, maybe the architect of Vattanac Tower was inspired by the L Tower?? Or maybe he ran out of ideas and thought he could get away with this building because it was being built on the other side of the world.....jk of course there will be building that will look identical to another but it's strange they are alike in almost every way...
