Hello, I am new to this board but have been viewing it for many months so I thought I would contribute.

The following photos were taken from the top of the Canadia Bank building (above)- about 30 stories high.

This shot (above)is looking North towards the Japanese bridge - the Raffles Hotel is on the left center of the shot, to it's right is the beautiful old library building , lets hope they do not tear that down. Notice how ugly the newer non-traditional building in the forefront of the photo looks.

This shot (above) is looking a bit further West than the last shot. Dominating the center of the photo is where there once was a lake, Boeung Kak, but they are filling it in with sand to build another 'satalite' city. In the lower left you can see the train station, which could soon be demolished, and if you look in the distance at the far top you can see Camko City.

This shot (above) is looking South-East, straight out toward the palace, the elegant Central (also referred to as the New) market is the yellow building on the right. What you can't see yet, at least in this photo, are the buildings on Koh Pich which will really stick out in the background. As a city, Phnom Penh has to be one of the most beautiful in Asia - in it's un-spoilt beauty, it looks so European. Though unlike most modern countries, which Cambodia wants so hard to be, the large building areas are just scattered throughout the city wherever a company can find land. I am all for building tall beautiful buildings in Phnow Penh or wherever, I just hope these shots illustrate the need for a bit of city planing - though I fear it's way too late for that.
As I live in Phnom Penh, if anyone has a need for specific shot of a building I might be able to help. I also have quite a few shots of older buildings taken over the past 10 years.

IFC 52 phnom penh GS E&C and Sun Wah IFC

I think not sleeping but already dead since long time not moving.

The IFC 52 opening for ground breaking by Sok An then hold on untill now.

The Sun Wah IFC not yet start ground breaking but this company put that picture of the project very long time ago since there no new building yet but only Naga World.

What's happening to this project ??? Better the land owner choose a new patner.

IFC = Investment For Cancel.

The economy is now recovering, soon or later IFC 52 and Sun Wah will resume its constructions - very high possibility.

Ground-breaking ceremony for IFC 52 was held on August 2008, two months before the financial crisis.

For IFC 52 I expected it will be restart in one day because their had announced that they need some time for redesign.

But for Sun Wah IFC I think already dead because I never heard any news but I only saw some pictures near Naga casino. I even don't know where this company come from? What they want to do exactly?

or because I miss to read the news!!!?

"The graphic obtained by the Post on Thursday depicts a series of towers lining the western and the southern edge of the site. An access road from the south leads into the complex, runs between two large towers and heads towards what appears to be a drastically smaller lake in the center of the development.
In addition, the graphic show what appears to be a stream that branches out of the lake and snakes towards the northwest corner of the development area. Smaller buildings line the stream as it curves and ends in a second lake."
