SETIF سطيف | East Algeria
Sétif (en arabe: سطيف: Sṭif) est une ville d'Algérie, chef-lieu de la wilaya de Sétif. Située à 300 km à l'Est d'Alger dans la région des Hauts-Plateaux (El Hidhab en arabe), la ville culmine à 1100 m d'altitude entre la Kabylie et les Aurès. Un des monuments emblématiques de la ville est la fontaine d'Ain El Fouara (1898) du sculpteur français Francis de Saint-Vidal.
En janvier 2004, Sétif compte 245 000 habitants.
