Yes, if I understand you correctly, there will be inside projection lighting on the meteor structure as well supposed to support the effect.

Here is a picture from the inside testing before the blue screens were put up:

During the day everthing inside will have a blue tone because of the reflections from the screen, which is clear from all the pictures I have seen so far.

The interior actually looks quite dull when viewed through the screens. In the evening it might be a different picture.

But lets see what the final result will be once completed.

This is a realy unique porject! Even tough at the moment it doesn't look that special but I think at the end it will look quite nice! Jean Nouvel is a great architec so I guess this will work out! Many projects in Copenhagen are anyway amazing.

Here is an interior shot with the blue screens mounted on the outside; I don't think the light is too disturbed.

Right, however, be aware that the foyer is currently filled up with all kinds of scaffolding making it really dark in there. I am hoping for this being the main reason why the meteor-effect can't be seen optimally right now.

Ok that looks good, but the facade is still missing a few screens.

There are only a few missing now. Gonna be really exciting to see how this is going to work.

You are right; on that particular photo there are some lower screens missing (actually folded up), which means it is hard to get a 100 % impression on how much the screens are in fact effecting inside light.

That can turn out quite neat, im hopeful.

About the blue screen, I like the blue color, simple and clean. But as mentioned, it may negatively effect the light of the interior of the box.

Do you have some higher resolution renderings available of the two above? Would you care to post them here?

OK. Thanks anyways - this project has been really, really tough finding high-resolution renderings on.

I fear (but hope not) that I might end up stating, when the building is finished, that it was a "great concept, but a horrible execution". I am especially concerned with how many of the beautiful and intelligent yet very conceptural features and ideas of the concert hall have been dealt with engineering-wise moving from initial conception phase (Terrell Group) towards a realistic execution (Niras).

I could be a little worried, looking at things so far, that either the engineers of Niras just haven't been good enough, the project simply was too complicated to build in full accordance with the original concept or a combination thereof.

An example could be the IMO very extensive metal frame put up in order to support the windows and the blue shields. This frame is much more extensive than originally shown in initial renderings and does seem to block some of the view of the "meteor effect". Then there is the whole "meteor effect" that I am very worried about whether it will show at all.

Oh well.

We will just have to see... It is a bit hard to tell right now.

Not too sure about the blue facade. IMHO, the meteor structure alone is nice enough for the concert hall.

This is going to be one of those building that only look good at night because of all the fancy visual/light installation.

In day time, the look is just plain industrial (and not in a good way).

This project is great with a unique concept. Jean Nouvel is an innovative and pioneer architect who traces new paths at the fields of architecture. Thanks for the presentation and the photos!! Can’t wait to visit it when it will be finished in order to attend a concert, it will be a fantastic experience!!

Jean Nouvel is well known to deliver buildings with excellent accoustic, he loves great volumes (museums, congress centers and so on), i am sure this one will be in the same line, it seems they studied the circulation of sound in the volume drastically... By the way, Jean Nouvel will do also the Philharmony of Paris, a concert hall of 2400 seats, inauguration in 2012.
