The Venice: By The wellness of living
January 13, 2010, 4:13pm
Manila Bulletin

Living in the urban jungle can be bad for your health. From the smog in the air to the stress brought on by everyday traffic to unhealthy food options, life in the city can oftentimes be an illness waiting to happen. But with lush, verdant subdivisions so far from the main business districts and leisure sites, people have no choice but to stay within city limits and just learn to live with all the pollution. But you don’t need to.

Property developer Megaworld Corporation’s newest project in McKinley Hill, Fort Bonifacio, gives both the convenience of living at the center of urban activity with the nourishing vibe of a relaxing countryside home. The Venice Luxury Residences is for city slickers, an oasis they can escape to after a hard day’s work.

“In Megaworld, we do not only make high-rise buildings, but we also build communities and create healthier lifestyles. The Venice Luxury Residences draws its inspiration from the city of Venice, which remains to be one of the foremost tourist attractions worldwide. Like the Italian city, the development has that innate serenity that relaxes people the minute they enter the community,” said Megaworld FVP for marketing and project head Noli Hernandez.

Whatever you are doing — working, playing or just relaxing — the place soothes and calms you. Thanks in part to its surroundings.

Located within the McKinley Hill township in Fort Bonifacio, this new address is like a paradise with its own man-made canal complete with gondolas and a lush park — the Piazza Grande — to walk in leisure with a pet dog or jog around in early in the morning.

You may hang out in the meditation garden, the palm court, the garden court and rock garden, which are perfect for those who seek to be closer to nature. But even if you choose to stay inside your unit, fresher and cooler air is guaranteed with tress at every corner.

Besides providing a clean and green environment, this new community is also packed with amenities that promote health and fitness. You do not even have to go far to keep in shape. At the third level of the condominium, is a fitness gym with the latest in exercising equipment, a pool and courts for tennis and badminton.

For pilates and yoga, head off to the meditation gardens and spread your mat. And because everything is just an elevator away, there is no excuse not to exercise. It saves time and gym fees. You can even cool off after a workout with the condo’s own spa and sauna.

With the Venetian Mall just a short walk away, you can eat healthy home-cooked meals everyday without having to drive over to the mall. Healthy eating will be an automatic convenience, just like everything in this new community.

The showroom is located along Upper McKinley Road in McKinley Hill, Fort Bonifacio.

Sept 2010

Some pics of the mall/center from Sept 2010. There's still much construction that needs to be done but its looking pretty nice so far. The pics were taken early in the morning so most of the stores just started opening which explains the lack of people in the photos.

Wala bang aging effects na inilagay sa building? (To make it more Venetian themed)

Are the restaurants anything like Greenbelt or Serendra, it seems like it's mostly fast food such as KFC from what I can see?
From what I can see, it looks like it's about the size of Greenbelt 2-3 or is it bigger?

Wow that's a pretty nice interior - the look from the outside looks has an ATC-feel going on.

Is it true that 3 (facing the canal) of the 7 towers are sold to Korean group?
You are in Venice with lots of Koreans and Filipinos.
