I really really hate those lower quality materials!!! The city doesn't any control about that?

What lower quality materials? Were you expecting them to use polished granite for the entire building?

I think the material so far on this one are great. In fact they must have paid big bucks for the custom designs on the podiums skin.

We're finally getting developers willing to invest in quality materials and visual interest. They should be applauded. This building is going to add colour and texture to the street scape. Hooray for a solid heavy looking podium!

I like the fact that they are using a red clayish cladding, never before seen in this city. I also love the small strip of orange cladding going up along the balconies. (not shown in the pics here) The fact that they are trying something different is a big plus for me. Don't forget, there will also be a sizeable arts centre in the base of this tower. What's an "Entertainment District" without the entertainment?
It's so nice to see this city getting some new buildings with COLOUR! |

One of the oddest things about this tower is it never seemed to have a sales office.

It was, and I think still is, in this building here at the SE corner of Peter and Adelaide! When they have the curtains drawn you can see the model when walking down Peter!
