it's not on hold, the top part is a hotel so the configuration will be different from the rest

the core for this building has topped out, but the top will rise a fair way above this height. by the way, the building's name is Huamin "Imperial" Tower.

Website states 235,5m tall, but I can't stop thinking it is taller. it almost looks taller than Wheelock Square in real life. It also has 10 more floors than Wheelock.

Anyone know which hotel will occupy the 36-68F?

EDIT: After reading more on the website it will be Chinese chain (Huamin) Sovereign Crown Hotel.

Huamin will use their own hotel brand. Aparently they are reconfiguring the floor layout, which needs gov approval first, so the top section is on hold. The office section is on schedule to hand over early next year.

Should be the same design, just a better quality rendering.
Also the number of floors is nominal, so after taking out all the 4s and 13 it should be less floors than Wheelock Square

Can we confirm the final height? Some sources claim it is slighty shorter, but they probably just don't include the full crown structure and refer to the roof height only.

Well, website says 235,5m but I really don't want to believe that just yet. I mean, it looks as tall as the Plaza 66 almost.

Anyway, you can at least change the thread name to Imperial Tower, z0rg.

It looks quite classy on the renders, and unlike some people's complaints I've read here, its crown is what makes it looking good.
Unfortunately so far the construction photos showing the cladding don't seem to match. Which is a shame, because although it will still be impressive in its form, a good cladding would have made it that much better.

Nonetheless, I am a fan of a good brown building, a nice change among all the blue glass

Its hard to say at this point how the appearance will match the CGI. However, I think it is something that will grow in you. Anyway, it is another tall building to fill the gap.
