SA staged it brilliantly though, some very nice stadiums, lots of excited fans, good organisation....FIFA fucked up a bit as usual with ticket prices, elaving some matches half full, but that's their fault, and thank god the vuvu things will never be seen again, but apart from that, they put on a first class show....it's just a pity the footballers didn't!

Now that's exactly what I thought about the world cup too.

Football wise it was just awful. WC 94 was boring but prolly this was even worse. Easily for me the worst tournament (both EC/WC) since 94 (at least). The south africans were brilliant though, very passionate but sadly the football was apart from like 3 games not worthy to watch.
