Yeah, very nice project for Brasilia.

I don't really like the attached 'spaceship' to Besiktas Stadium, would look better without it in my opinion.

i think its a contrast between the old bosphorus stands
old bosphorus stand - mixed stadium - spacy parking

Good design although Im wondering whether the walls to the pitch are a bit too high?
Im happy that Besiktas is getting a new stadium though.
Istanbul will soon have quite an impressive stadium/arena "scenery"

Yes, the wall looks a lil bit too high
I still do not believe in this one.
Too historical area and too close to the Bosphorus

In countrys like turkey, roofs should provide more shade for poeple, viewing the match.Especialy in summer where temperatures are high, and being in the sun is notso pleasent.

Yeah, i do not understand therfore a glass roof.
I think the reason was to have a transparent roof, because of its close location to the palace, actually the general historical area.

Wow there's some seriously good stadia coming down the pipe good to see them popping around. The new Besiktas is awsome from the outside but the inside is quite average IMO.

Besiktas ( The best, that f**ks the rest in Turkey ) won't have a modern stadium?
I think Besiktas fans are mad
They could go to play at Ataturk since both Galata and Fener won't need it for C.L. anyway. But i heard its really far away from the city and attendance will suffer.

They can have a new stadium, but they are too stubborn.
They want to built the stadium at the current old one site.
But its to close to the Bosphorus and the Dolmabahce area is a historical area.

They have to search for a new plot in the city.

Olympic stadium sucks and BJK will never use it.
Actually only GS can fill this big stadium. I still hope that they will destroy the stadium

Yeah, I saw it on Google Earth and from some pics that Besiktas have a super place...
Ataturk might suck because of the athletics track but the seats on the top tier can give a good view, can't they?
After building such a huge stadium that can host CL Final, WC Final, Olympic Games and you say it sucks doesn't it hurt when you pay the taxes?

Because of this super place you cannot built a new stadium
Even the old one is wrong. Big mistake done in the 1940s

GS's new stadium will be in a very good area. City border, but still very close. Close to the CBD.

The problem at BJK (Besiktas JK) is that they do not want to move away.

Stadium is in the Besiktas district.

And i think it offers pretty good view, it ain't bad for old...but they could still renovate it...adding a roof on all the stands and stuff.

Could you give any possible plots anywhere near (wherever the nearest is, of course ) the current Inonu?

and if you asked me, the high-rise that grew near Inonu spoils the area good enough... though I only know it from photos, but it looks hideously near the mosque.
