If the new Mane Garrincha Stadium is going to have a 76K capacity, it's gonna look like it has two huge tiers of seating. Hope that looks like a final design.

During the time when the world cup is going to be held, the season is dry, however, there is also a rainy season in the other half of the year.

I don't know from where this information about the 76k came or if the project was changed but almost all the reports says that the capacity is 71k.

and like other 10.000 stadiums (at least)... How do you want it to look? With the stands hanging from the roof, in the form of a butterfly, or what?

Football stadiums, nowdays, look either like this or the "old english style", rectangular. There are only these two options, if you want to offer a good viewing angle for the spectators. You will see only stadiums like this in the future...There are not many other options for the design and layout of the stands, especially for +50k stadiums.

Tb acho que a abertura deveria ser em Brasília. Alem de sua infraestrutura, que itaquera jamais terá, da proximidade dos hotéis, da localização estratégica, o estádio será um dos mais belos, senão o mais. A obra parece ser uma das mais adiantadas. Acho que apenas o Mineirao esta mais adiantado.
