I read in Wikipedia that Translohr STE6 will run on the T6.
It means that the tram will be 46m long and have 6 cars (255 passengers).

If we compare with the existing line.

TFS: 29m, 178 passengers

Citadis 302 (double): 65m, 426 passengers.

Citadis 402: 43.7m, 304 passengers

Avanto: 36.9m, 242 passengers

OK so they will be pretty long after all!

The trams on T1 have the worst design ever! Is there any plan to change those tramcars? I saw that line T2 had those exact same trams running back in the day, but now the citadis 302 took over. Is there the same thing planned for line T1? Im guessing that they will go for longer trams with the HUGE future extensions.

T1 rolling stocks is old that's why the design is outdated.
TFS run since 1988 in Grenoble and 1992 in Paris.
The TFS of T2 have been transferred in 2003-2004 on the T1 for extension to Noisy-le-Sec.

Unlike the T2, the T1 stations can't be extened, so any new rolling stock will have the same size.
According Wikipedia for the extention in 2015, 50 new tram cars will be ordered.
It will renew the whole rolling stock.

It would be nice to see trams similar to these ones running on T1 someday.

Alstom Citadis in Istanbul.

(Saint Denis - Garges-Sarcelles) will also have the same rolling stock.

I was stuck in traffic due at the tram work in Sarcelles.

I don't think so, if it was the case the other side would be protected too.
