I know dear, the list of IDIOT cities who actually had no need of Translohr

Tianjin and Shanghai just built them too have a different toy

Clermont Ferrand did it beaucse of Michellin.

Padua and Venice thought it was good

Paris built them because no one else need this thing any more.

ONLY city maybe in the world that may need this thing is Medellin because of it's superb hilly neighbourhood Ayacucho, where this thing will run. But let's see when they open it!

@Tramwayman: why are you so opposed to Translohr? Is it for technical or financial reasons? Don't you think Translohr has some market niches to fill?

Speaking of systems above ground in Paris, do you think a very-light fast-built elevated rail like the Axoniswould ever get the go-ahead in Paris?

The English language wikipedia is not a relevant source, dear. Everybody knows that fact over here on this side of the Channel/Atlantic.

P.S. I'm just teasing, so take it easy, dears.

"Idiot" cities ? What a stupid comment...

If a city wants to have a BRT or a Translohr, it has the right to choose one of these systems. The Translohr isn't the best system but it works rather well. Medellin chose the Translohr because there are several slopes on the track.

False. The Translohr is rather reliable.

Please keep the discussion more civil and stop with the overuse of emoticons otherwise you will be banned from this discussion. There is getting your view across with balanced argument and then there is just derailing the thread (no pun intended).

So is my bicycle, but I would still call it a technical failure if it was meant to be a form of public transport.

Grands Moulins de Pantin, a former industrial gristmill (built in 1884), now converted into offices.

RATP bus line 170.
Despite its articulated stock, this line pass through some very small streets.

Buses use this street on both direction
