Yeah, at first I got excited over the prospect of another green tower, too, but then I realized it's just a fake.

It really is a huge tower indeed, 700 meters won't be a surprise, but everywhere in all folders and at the model etc is stated that it will be 600 meters, so that is kinda confusing..

I don't think so, they write it in arabic أنارا not أنار, and if they really wanted to choose an arabic name it would be something like al-Inarah الإنارة
choosing non arabic names for projects is just another example of dubai giving up identity, so sad.

I love this tower so so much, Atkins should get some award for "most innovative architect team" every tower looks different, has itīs own character. They arenīt copying themcelves, every building looks unique and futuristic.

I am so curious what will be located in this capsule up there. Maybe tameers main conference room. Imagine holding a conferenc in about 550-600m height. You can also see trees inside on the last render. And that the capsule will have more than one floor.

Hm, the capsule looks pretty much like a restaurant to me. Imagine, it would probably be the highest restaurant of the world, although I wouldn't be concentrated too much on the food.

If that's a restaurant, how the hell do you get into it and how does the turbine work? I call BS.

dubai is the place of daring and innovative designs, whether they are functional or appeasing to the eyes....

I hope that the center of the ring is an accessible feature. That would make the design jump from awesome to exceedingly prolific.

For those floors to be usable, there would have to be an elevator that moves sideways or an escalator that has multiple stops. Either way, you end up with almost zero usable floorspace.

They already did that with the Gateway Arch, there could be enough space I think

If the "blades" were reversed upside-down it would have looked like Mercedes Benz logo. That would have been weird.
