Thats the case with me too.... In last 5yrs, i went to KFC only one time in Chennai. My n.v preference would be Ponnuswamy, Anjappar, Nalaas Aaapa kadai like high class N.V restaurants or some parota kadai rather than KFC or McD.

Presence of large no. of traditional N.V food restaurants for both high class/middle class might be the reason for limited no. of KFC/McD in Chennai.

other reason could be that you prefer the way we cook / Indian taste rather than the way MCD/ KFC prepare. Though they are trying to Indianise their menu, there is still a difference in the taste. But with our city changing rapidly, am sure more MCD /KFC and the likes will come up.

Exactly... Even i have been only once to KFC... i like Ponnusamy a lot...Especially a one in royapettah....

Even me too.... Ponnusamy is the best. Even many of my friends prefer it more than anything else..... Especially the one in Royapettah.....

I tried out once in Ponnusamy, Besant Ngr. Not that good, as compared to Anjappar, Nungambakkam. Nowadays, many started using the name of Anjappar, but quality is pathetic. even in few of it's own branches.

Saravana Bhavan is the only known place, where it's standard across all it's branches.

Hi Guys today morning AGS multiplex in cormandel plaza navalur was opened by Jayam ravi

. It was a small function held today. Had first glimpse of the theatre

(Because my office is in Navalur very close to it

) interiors looks nice. It has four screens currently two screens will be operational. First movie to launched will be Jeyam ravi (Engeyum kadhal) releasing on May 6 2010 more over its AGS home production. Sorry couldn't take any pics.

This may be the first multiplex opened in a mall before anchor store starts. normally multiplex starts operation in a mall much later its inauguration.
