All the malls across Tamilnadu (I believe even across india) have the multiplexes and food courts designed on top floor. I wonder what would they do in case of emergency (say earthquake / fire break out) to evacuate people. Though 'Anchor' stores are being designed to play the anchor role in mall, the multiplex theatres are playing the anchor role. At any point of time, major portion of the crowd is present in the top floors (foodcourt and theaters).
It would be extremely difficult to evacuate so much people in short period of time and it could arise to stampede in panic. I am not sure on how the builders and authorities are turning blind eye to this fact and allowing the crowded areas to be present on top floors.

I have seen such stories in News papers when ever they give the paid news about a mall. If you check the history of now so called flop malls, they also have same kind of stories about them before they were launched.

Who will tell there were low/no enquires about their malls? Unless it is launched we cannot know which works and which fails.

SPI Cinemas is the first exhibitor in india to Launch Dolby ATMOS. First they launched in Serene in Sathyam and now streak in Escape. They might have one in Luxe and palexo as well.

I believe the reason why the mall was designed in such a way is maybe because the mall owners who have thought they could place ads between the two blue sections separating each floor all around the build. This way the whole mall would be covered with ads of shops present within the mall. Hint: similar to how the ags cinemas ad is present on the top floor of the mall.

But again, I feel they could do so much in promoting that place....not sure why the promoter are not taking serious steps to lease the space available to stores. It's sad to see such a waste of space.

But the interiors seem as if they've not started yet..
Only the exteriors are almost complete. It can be estimated that it will take few more months to be operational. :-(
