Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA), a free zone 100% owned entity by the Government of Dubai, unveiled today a landmark development valued at AED 1.55 billion in the Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), the region's premier integrated innovations hub for high-tech industries.

The project, which is scheduled to finish by the first quarter of 2010, includes 1,042 residential villas and offers lifestyle choices never before on offer in the region in general and in the UAE in specific. Construction on the region's most attractive destination has begun, where the urban community is taking shape at the Dubai Silicon Oasis city, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The project is set within Dubai Silicon Oasis city which is strategically located on the emirates road, thus providing easy access to all the corners of Dubai. The complex is developed as a gated community area with exclusive club house, shopping complex, swimming pools, play areas and many other quality lifestyle initiatives.

The villas will be classified into four categories. These include Luxury, Executive, Twin, and Town villas. These villas will spread over 5,210 square feet, 3,186 square feet, 2,729 square feet, and 2,476 square feet respectively. What is worth mentioning is that the project joins three worlds together, for villas with the same layout will be built in three styles namely Arabic, Traditional and Modern, thus adding more choice to suit the requirements of the community residing in the silicon oasis. DSO Authority are building this.Main headquarters is at DSO.I think the villas are intended for mainly emirates staff as are the ones already completed.

AED1.55 billion Project to be Fully Completed by First Quarter of 2010

Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA) today announced 400 of the total 1,047 units at Cedre Villas are available for sale and lease to investors.

The announcement came at Cityscape Dubai 2009, one of the largest business-to-business real estate investment and development events in the world, which opened today and will run until 8 October at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The 400 villas in the first phase of the project comprise, Executive Villas, Twin Villas, and Town Houses. The villas will be available with three architectural models, Modern, Traditional, and Islamic and will be offered at very competitive rates in relation to current market prices.

In addition, DSOA also announced the remaining finishing works for the AED1.55-billion villa development is proceeding as scheduled while more than 280,000 cubic meters of concrete have already been laid out for construction.

Eng.
