Adore Seattle; without a doubt my favourite American city. Thanks for sharing these. There are some very good angles of the skyline and you have some good city scenes from the CBD. Looks like there's lots of new construction going on since I was there last year.

Summer days? I see snow in the mountains.

How is the weather like in Seattle during summer? Is it like San Francisco's? You know, cold.

I think it's warmer in Seattle and in Vancouver. They are in different climate zone's shielded by the evil frigid Pacific.

Wonderful skyline and sea. Beautiful images.

The Olympics will lose their snow in late summer usually. Mt. Rainier is snowy (glaciers) year-round.

Awesome pics.

It'll be between 70 and 90 for the most part in the summer. Seattle's wet winters get old but you will not find a better summer anywhere in the country, I mean it. We average 2 inches of rain TOTAL in July and August with warm to hot days and nice nights.

Great pics PWright.

The Olympic Mountains generally are snow free in August/September (at least, from what you can see. Mt. Olympus and Mt. Anderson never lose their glaciers.)

In the Cascades, the big volcanoes are always snow and glacier-glad: Mt. Rainier, Mt. Adams, Glacier Peak, and Mt. Baker. The other mountains that aren't north of Glacier Peak usually lose snow in late summer as well.

Summers are warm and dry (relatively speaking). Much less humid than the East coast, and the sun is much less harsh than in the Southwest. Summer and early fall are usually clear and pleasant. Sometimes we'll get a long high-pressure system, meaning smog collects, but it's never too bad.

Generally we're warmer than San Fran in summer, but cooler than Portland.

Seattle could pass for an Australian city in some of those pics Great photos, good lighting.
I would love to see Seattle get more light rail.

I was in Philly last summer btw and got to see a Phillies game. It was fun, but man oh man that mugginess is new to me. Great area though.

Every East Coast city is extremely muggy in the Summer. We don't have an arid desert to help us out like you guys do.
