So people like Kon133 can post 9-11 pics to their heart's content instead of on the THE MEGA WTC Picture Thread.
Isn't that the western side? The fire on the eastern part of the south face is raging and you can see the columns bending inward.
I am not interpreting Leslie's statements, just echoing them. The North Tower also immediately leaned. That's a fact. That part of the building also became off center, that's a fact. That tower also took more damage to it's core and has bigger fires on more floors, that's a fact. Fires were blamed for the collapses, that's also a fact. What I said makes perfectly good sense as I said before regardless of your interpretation of what Leslie Robertson said. The second plane hit the south tower at such an angle that it took out enough of the load-bearing wall and part of the core to cause the building above the point of impact to lean to one side almost immediately. That's a fact. That part of the building was then off center. That's a fact. In addition to the upper part of the south tower now being off center, because the plane that hit the south tower impacted it at a lower floor than the first plane hit the north tower, there was more weight bearing down on the part of the building being weakened by the fire in the south tower than the north tower. That's a fact.
Now regardless of what you say was going on in the north tower, there was more going on in the south tower to make it collapse first, which is what happened. Maybe it is unusual then for both towers to have stayed up as long as they did, but not unusual for the north tower to have stayed up longer than the south tower.
Where did I say that you said the south tower didn't lean? Now i never once said the South Tower didn't lean or move somewhat, of course it did a frigging airplane crashed into it.
I also told you what I actually saw in real time. There was definitely a more pronounced lean to the south tower. I'm not assuming that the north tower didn't lean. I just never saw it and never heard any reports about it in any subsequent documentaries, but someone above the point of impact in the south tower did say he thought the building was about to topple over because it swayed in one direction for a good 7 to 10 seconds immediately after impact. An airplane also crashed into the North Tower however, to assume this tower did not lean because of what some live news report said is kind of silly honestly.
