sounds about right

not quite yet. Because that's where you cut in and say: what does this have to do with it?
The discussion (hmm... isn't it what forums where invented for??), no matter if you like it or not, is worth a lot more than your moralist's view shared with everyone. Yet I haven't seen you opposing the battle about why are Irish flags present at Celtic Park. Guess only some specific people bother you.
Oh, sorry I forgot- this thread should look like this:
person 1: I like Old Trafford
person 2: I like Wembley
person 3: I like some unknown stadium somewhere for a lot more than just looks
person 4: Get out of here it's not a place for this...

Sorry to everyone who might take it personal- this is addressed to one person only.

Not to make it a complete off-top:

Not sure how helpful this'll be, but Edinburgh City FC plays on Meadowbank- a stadium with athetic track and one stand working (7 000). Still a nice spot though.

Michigan Stadium (Michigan Wolverine Home)

This is the biggest Stadium in U.S in terms of sitting capacity (107,501).

Notice that people are still coming even if the stadium is already full

I haven't got just one favorite. I like the Westfalenstadion because it's the home of my favorite soccer team, its great. And I was there. I also visited the Allianz Arena, one of my favorites, too. I like many US NFL and NCAA Stadium. And I would like to visit some great european stadiums like Nou Camp, Bernabeu, San Siro a.s.o.
You see... no favorite.

I'm still trying to work out where all the exits are inside the stadium?

There can only be one:

Waldstadion Frankfurt!

Ok, the pics aren't up to date. The "Ultras Frankfurt" banner has been replaced by a large black one in fall 2006 and since then all other banners (except the one showing the stadium's real name "Waldstadion") have solidarily been turned upside down. Reason: protest against highhanded stadium bans.
The stadium is not perfect. Too much yellow, it should be only black and red But due to the fact that Eintrachtfans are known as Germany's best and loudest (although the Ultras currently don't act as a group in the stadium with bad effects on the atmosphere) there is no other Bundesliga stadium with an atmosphere comparable to Frankfurt

thats what you are saying, I guess. in my eyes the Schalke fans are the loudest and I think in germany there is nothing comparable to the Schalke Arena. every game full to its capacity of 60.000.

I wouldn't say this if i didn't regularly hear statements even from our ENEMIES who admire the loud and coordinated support in Frankfurt
Especially Schalke can't compete with Frankfurt. Their fans made a good atmosphere in the past, but the last years they got weaker and weaker. Most Schalke fans i know admit that their atmosphere is extremely weak nowadays at home games. Auf Schalke may be sold out very often, but that has not much to do with the atmosphere. It's the support that counts and concerning this, Schalke sadly is at home nearly as weak as Munich, Wolfsburg or Leverkusen. The main reason for this could be that they already have too much success fans, while many of the true fans are banned. When we were in Schalke at the beginning of the season, it was nearly a homegame for us. I especially loved this legendary "Schalke" - "06" alternating chant
Actually there are only two fan scenes remaining in the Bundesliga with very good support both away and at home: Nuremberg and Frankfurt. On away games also Dortmund, Schalke and Cologne aren't too bad, but at home they can only succeed in getting the games sold out and yelling after a goal is scored, but nothing more.

Chosing between Schalke and Eintracht- sorry, but the recently-name-sold Veltins Arena is no comparison when it comes to atmosphere. Never been at any of these grounds, but seen a lot of vid materials...

Zaro- the stadium is indeed wonderful

I can see where you're coming from with regard to the exterior, but I'd be curious to see if someone could actually find an image that matches the electricity found inside Beaver Stadium.

Those orderly crowds at the American stadiums are an insult to sport. What! No flags! No colorful smoke! No rolls of toilet paper thrown into the field!

The best sports stadium in the world? What about this one:

It's a piece of crap, admittedly. But it is my piece of crap.
