Personally i like its assymetric stands. And its squarish shape makes it look very large on the inside in comparisson to Emirates Stadium, New Wembley etc.

Allianz Arena - Having only previously seen it in pictures, I didn't admire the interior, thought it was bland, however I was recently in Munich, and took in the tour, and it trully is stunning. I love that place.

Olympiastadion, Berlin - It's a masterpiece of how to renovate an old place. It's so classy and majestic, has history on its side and the roof looks wonderful.

Qwest Field & Reliant Stadium - Both seem huge from the pics, look great aesthetically, and are also extremely modern. The both look fantastic

Millenium Stadium - Excellent roof, extremely modern, love the colours of the seats and the exterior also looks great, and it's in a great setting as well

1. Adelaide Oval
2. Lord's Cricket Ground
3. Newlands
4. Sydney Cricket Ground
5. Trent Bridge

Those concrete 'monoliths' like Wembley, Twickenham, MCG, Soldier Field etc.. are not 'beautiful'. They are just massive monstrosities.

There is very little concrete visible with Soldier Field. I don't like the way they handled the renovation (pays no respect to the past stadium), but what you see is clad in stone, glass or metal around the stadium. Wembley is mostly glass as well, albiet kind of plain looking IMO. If you hate concrete monoliths then your hated list should go: Twickenham, Stadio San Siro, Stadio San Nicola (which IMO is one of the worlds most beautiful), Toyota Stadium ect. Or maybe you just have a thing for Cricket grounds.

In a side note Allianz is getting a suprising amount of love.

I wouldnt call them monstrosities but there appeal does IMHO come down far more to scale than real beauty.

1.Lords Cricket Ground
2.Olympiastadion
3.Montreal Olympic Stadium
4.Plaza de Las Ventas
5.Athens Olympic Stadium

Berlin Olympic stadium is the best renovation i have ever seen,,,

and if we are talking about BEATUFUL STADIUMS, berlin gets number 1 for me,,, the track, obstructed views, etc,,, are secondary at the moment.

mi list

1 Berlin Olympic, the modern version of the Rome Coliseum.
2 Munich Olympic, that roof and surrounding gardens are out of this world.
3 Dragao Stadium in Porto, perfect sidelines, capacity, roof, modern, etc.
4 Wembley, freaking big,, stadiums are suposed to be imposing.
5 Athens Olympic, Calatravas masterpiece, again the roof.
