As for Adelaide Oval, if Lords can be classed as a stadium surely the worlds most picturesque test cricket ground is.
Dude, AAMI is no were near world class. i wouldnt even say top 100.
i question wheather you have been to a stadium outside of australia judging by your list.

I admire your honesty i really do, but to say that AAMI is in top 10 let alone Hindmarsh is utter crap.

About oct 2003 me and me mum were passing by there and I said is it alright if we pass by she said yes. we walked round the ground starting from the West stand then got to the hotel. I wanted to go in the ground so I said to one of the sercurity guys can he take us into the ground he said but another could. The man took us in really quickly I went through the Shed end-east stand corner walked down the steps and touched the grass. Saw Ken bates after that outside the hotle whilst talking to the man that had let us in (short fat f***er Ken Bates is smug ***t! ) then went up the escolaters in the hotle as I was going up to my surprise marcel desailly was at the top and I shook his hand! in all it was a not so bad day until I shook his I have a lot of time for that man.

I can see only 3?

And the ArenA is actually shit because there is not enough sunlight to grow a decent grass pitch.

the ArenA of Schalke in Germany was elected the most innovative and modern stadium in the world followed by the Millenium Stadium of Cardiff (it was about already built stadiums), about stadiums under construction, it's the new wembley that come in first position. I don't know for other positions.

In the title you say "World's Top 10 Stadiums"

but you then say "Here are the world's most modern stadiums"

So what is best stadiums in the world or most modern?

Skydome has alot of hightech gadgetry and a retracable roof, I think retractable roof stadiums surely have the upper hand in terms of modernity.

One of the largest video screens in the world, recently upgraded to LCD.

Retractable roof...worlds first BTW.

With all due respect Skydome kind of sucks. It was pretty cool back in the early 90's and gets props for the standing as first retractable dome but it already has an outdated look to it.

Ibrox is one of the top staduims in the world. A beautiful original facade and it led the way in all-seater stadia in the U.K with many other stadia modelled on it. So much history and tradition. A record attendance of 118'597 aswell. Who in God's name says all this modern stuff is the best! They are all superb stadia but just because they are the most modern it doesnt mean there the best! I'm sure many sports fans will agree with that.

And yes, to me nothing says modern stadium better than a retractable roof or a dome............
