What are the chances for them to drop Sao Paulo as host stadium? This is just horrible. Like playing football on cricket stadium...

Maybe it's getting time to start thinking about renaming the thread?

How about just calling it "stadiums" ???

Ok this is called "beautiful stadiums thread". I know, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but please, don't post every damn stadium design you can find! Beautiful means elegant, different, strange, innovative. Either do this or quit spamming.

Diego Logon, did you really need to post every single project for the 2014 wc?

I've absolutely loved and enjoyed watching and seeing some of these stadiums for the first time.

So much variation.

Dear to my heart is ................

Dodger Stadium

Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum
1932 and 1984 Olympics

And I think Wembley, Birds Nest, Azteca, Allianz, and the new Valencia in Spain and wordly mentionables.

Bislett Stadium in Oslo, Norway has a great classic feel to it.

Yeah, there's already a separate thread for that event...and actually you already posted the same pics there, so it would be nice if you could erase them...

idea for new thread

Had an idea for a new thread or information bar- basically could be very helpful to everyone as to get this information currently you have to go to every single thread!

What if we have a stadium list, not by capacity not by country etc etc but by timeline so all posters can keep tabs on when a stadium will come on line-based on updated info this could be changed say on a bi-weekly basis?

So for example currently according to information i would say
Taiwan games stad JUNE 09
rdc espanyol JUL 2009
donbass arena AUG 2009
cardiff city AUG 2009
etc
etc

Stadia listed would be projects that have actually broken ground so for example last project on list as of today would be Panathiniakos as they broke ground in last 48 hrs
The information would be simple just to reference and i dont think it should be a thread as such but could be posted at the top of stadia arena fast find thread as a ref tool?

What do the mods think?
