This is a very aimless thread. As far as I can see it is several threads merged into one. There are posts on here that were made when it was a your favourite stadium thread, there are posts that were made to best stadium in the world threads and they have all been bundled into "Beautiful stadiums".
Anyway 5 good examples off the top of my head for beautiful stadiums would be
Estádio do Dragão, Qwest Field, Lords Cricket Ground, Camden Yard and Berlin Olympiastadion.

I don't agree with you. The design is very subtle and elegant, and in general it's a great stadium. IMO when finished, it will be one of the best stadiums in the world.

This thread has gone down the drain anyway.....Its about beautiful stadiums, not great stadiums, super stadiums, modern stadiums etc....Not that those terms cannot co exist.....

I don't know how you interpret beauty, but IMO it's a beautiful stadium.

Green Point stadium, although still under construction, is still fits the "beautiful stadium category" The design is simple, and elegant.

But currently it's nothing more than a construction site.

This is one of the reason's why american's are soo annoying, making up pathetic names for a sport that is much greater than your amateur little sports. Lets compare a "football" stadium and an american football stadium.

Football stadium

American football stadium

Which one looks more luxurious? Which one looks more suitable for a game? Which one looks more modern? etc.

I have no clue what were talking about now. This thread is so off track.

Sercan, i think some deletion may be in order.

Relax, a stadium can be beautiful regardless of the sport.

I would say that my favourite stadium is the Donbass-Arena in Dontesk, Ukraine. It's not yet completed but the construction works are wrapping up. The opening match will be in exactly 29 days (29th of August). I really can't wait!!!

Comparing the most audacious stadium in Europe to a stadium built by a small private university... yeah that's ridiculous.

Here's an equally ridiculous comparison
