now not all of my choices are what you might call 'beautiful' but they all have a certain something that appeals to me!

Lucas Oil Stadium - looks magnificent both inside and out

image hosted on flickr

Amsterdam Arena

Monaco's Stade Louis II - not from outisde but inside i think it looks, not nice... but... different!!

Michigan bowl - not for any architectual amazingness but because it is what it is... thousands of seats around a pitch. nuff said

Rose bowl - same rules as michigan...

And the grounds of Dundee United FC and Dundee FC... who needs the san siro for a ground share when you can say 'bollocks we int sharrin nooo ground wi' them showar eh ba'stards' and build 2 grounds next to each other!! this pictures defines the word 'stubborn' if u ask me i love it!!

FC Braga - great use of space

and the lovely brickwork of Archibald Leitch on both Rangers Ibrox, and Villa Park

gonna have to agree with Charlie P on the Rec. such a good atmosphere in that ground and in one of the most beautiful cities in england aswell

going to add these two aswell...

Comiskey Park

and Tiger Stadium

i just love the facade on the fronts and when i look at them i see black and white pictures of grainy Baseball players with baggy clothes on for some reason lol!!

in my mind they are American versions of some of the old footy grounds in england that seem to have so much more character than massive arenas seem to these days

Central Park Kop

the Douglas Stand

the Popular Stand

The view for the 'cheapskate fans' from the river douglas

tight gits... !

im actually devastated this ground isnt there any more. its now a tesco...

I still don't know about the seat color, or pattern. But other than that I wouldn't change a thing inside or out.

I was shitting myself standing in Boavista's home end, I doubt I'll ever go in a stand as steep as that again! It made for a brilliant atmosphere, though.

I agree about the seating colours, far too 'in your face' for me but I suppose it gives the place a bit of character at the end of the day. The huge concrete corners were looking shabby when I went as well, as were some of the roof truss'. A little TLC here and there would do the world of good for it.

That one is a fake though, as that stand was built nearly 60 years after Leitch died. The original brickwork was on the Trinity Road stand, now demolished, while the original Holte End was pretty dreary from the back.

It is a decent copy though, and only pales when compared directly to the original.

I like Bessa, it's a cozy little stadium. Well, I guess it isn't "little", you know what I mean.

I hate those american arenas, roof should cover only seats. When it covers everything it brakes the atmosphere

Bessa is a great stadium. Its like a smaller version of Luigi Ferraris.

Don't you mean stadiums? There's only 20 major domed stadiums in the USA and Canada. Besides you feel it breaks the atomsphere... Why don't you like them?

Oh yes...there are 190 outdoor stadiums in the USA with a capacity over 20,000. Do you like them? Just curious. Thank you.
