Location: Rue du Pot-de-Fer (5th arrondissement)
Date: June 24, 1914 (i.e. 4 days before the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria in Sarajevo!)

PS: Within the next 6 months after this picture was taken, 500,000 young Frenchmen died on the battlefields.

Some pics from Stockholm Expo 1897. Unfortunately most of these buildings doesnt exist today.

Arial pic of the expo area. A model of the former Three Crowns castle in scale 1:2 can be seen at the back.

Expo halls showing the latest transportsystems.
