European Cities 1900

If you have any images of European cities taken around 1900 (that haven't already been posted in other threads) post them here.

A collection of photographs and postcards from European cities taken around 1897 (First Post) -

Cologne -

Larger Images - http://www.flickr.com/photos/2270355...7606117923008/

- I would upload more, but I've reached the 100mb Flickr download limit.

It would be interesting to compare these images with modern photographs, viewing how they have changed and developed.

Paris
Location: Rue du Pot-de-Fer (5th arrondissement)
Date: June 24, 1914 (i.e. 4 days before the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria in Sarajevo!)

PS: Within the next 6 months after this picture was taken, 500,000 young Frenchmen died on the battlefields.

Some pics from Stockholm Expo 1897. Unfortunately most of these buildings doesnt exist today.

Arial pic of the expo area. A model of the former Three Crowns castle in scale 1:2 can be seen at the back.

Expo halls showing the latest transportsystems.

He asks for European cities, but I think he would'nt mind if you post photo's of other cities around the world! So why don't we make this Thread for all cities around the world? It would be great to see some Asian cities around 1900!

So what if influenced by Asia - the same can result.

We can always make this kind of stuffs when we like it.

Like reading the history is pointless, it makes the lies come true, your brain-box is then full-up and broken, which is sickening!

The Cultures are the lies, and such do not exist.
