It is called a bot. It takes "key" keywords from the previous posts, and builds a text out of them. Of course the logic of such texts is scr... is skewed somewhat. They are getting better tho', more and more people are caught unaware.

Paris
(3.7 million people in 1900, the 3rd largest city in the world after London and NYC)

Tons of photos on the Parisienne de Photographie website. I have just selected a few among the hundreds of pictures they have from 1900. Enjoy!

Hot air balloon competition at the Bois de Vincennes in 1900:

The Universal Exhibition of Paris in 1900:

Bowling at a Parisian amusement park in 1909:

Goatherd selling goat milk in the streets of Paris in 1911:

The little girl plays with a baby goat while her nurse is watching her:

Traffic officer on the Place de l'Opéra in 1910:

Man carrying water in Montrmartre in 1910:

The Paris World Exhibition of 1900:

Marie Curie in her laboratory on Rue d'Ulm in 1905:

The Paris Bourse in 1900, at the time the 2nd largest stock exchange in the world:

The pavillion of French Algeria at the Paris World Exhibition of 1900:

The slums of the so-called "Zone" surrounding Central Paris in 1900 (the "Zone" has now been replaced by the Périphérique beltway):

Congress for social hygiene, in the meeting hall of the Musée Social, on Rue Las-Cases (7th arrondissement) around 1900:

Bohemian lifestyle at the Cabaret du Lapin Agile, on top of Montmartre hill, in 1905 (incidently, my grandfather used to go partying all night long in that cabaret during WW1 when he was on leave from the front; it still exists today, but it has become a tourist trap):

Inauguration of Pont Alexandre III in 1900, a symbol of Franco-Russian friendship:

One of the first female taxi drivers in Paris in 1900 (picture taken in the Bois de Boulogne):

A café on the Grands Boulevards in 1900:

The interior of the Khmer temple at the Paris World Exhibition of 1900:

Telephone switchboard in the Métro of Paris in 1900:

The horse slaughterhouse in the 15th arrondissement in 1900:

A famous surgeon teaching his interns at the Hôtel Dieu hospital near Notre Dame cathedral around 1900:

One of the first planes flying above the Seine River in 1907:

Miss Bloch, the first female candidate ever at the prestigious Ecole Polytechnique (X) engineering school, in 1900:

Place de la Concorde around 1910:

The Métro of Paris under construction below the Place de la Concorde in 1900:

The Russian microbiologist Ilya Ilyich Mechnikov in his laboratory at the Institut Pasteur around 1900:

The banks of the Seine River in the 16th arrondissement in 1900:

Little girls of the bourgeoisie playing in the alleys of the Champs-Elysées in 1908:

The slums of the "Zone" in 1900:

Young thugs in the streets of Paris around 1900 (they were called "Apaches", in reference to US wild West stories popular at the time which talked about cow boys fighting against violent Apache Indians):

"Apache" guy with his girlfriend in 1900:

Passage des Postes (5th arrondissement), around 1900:

The bourgeoisie enjoying a Sunday afternoon at the Porte Dauphine, on the edge of the Bois de Boulogne, around 1900:

Interns in a Paris hospital in 1900:

Paris print workshop in 1900:

Gas factory in the 19th arrondissement in 1905 (it produced natural gas for the city and the residential buildings in Paris):

Workers unloading coal in the docks of Paris, along the Seine River, in 1908:

Delivering rolls of paper to a newspaper company on the Place de la Bourse in 1910:

The large wholesale fish market at Les Halles in 1900:

Unloading forage in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris in 1900 (forage was used to feed the horses; these were the very last years before the automobile replaced the horse-drawn carriages):

The docks of Paris along the Seine River in 1908:

The docks again:

The slums of the "Zone" in 1900:

The slums, and behind them the City of Lights:

I am afraid I do not have any pictures but what a cool thread this is. Europe (or any other part of the world) around 1900 is my favourite period.

Jukrapp I have seen some of your comments in other threads as well and I do not know if you are for real but some of those comments are just weird.
