Cement Factory - Rugby, England - 350ft

I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but it seems the most fitting...

I've lived in Rugby forever, but in the year 2000 our (tall, yet narrow) cement chimney was to be replaced with a 'slimmer, smaller, more modern design'.

Instead, we got this:

One of the largest industrial buildings in the UK... smack in the middle of a town!

Not only does it completely dominate Rugby, but the entire area.

Just thought you might want to see it!

The close up picture actually makes it look worse. I think in the context of the building around it, it isn't too bad. Certainly, in your second and fourth pictures, at least.
In economics, hope and faith coexist with great scientific pretension and also a deep desire for respectability.

F-ck me, that's one of the most horrible things I've seen in a town.

This is where they need that new technology the military came out with where objects or people look invisible. Seriously though, that thing has to go.
