The clubs themselves are fine and even better than what you find in the US. The people (read girls) are amazing when you look at them. But try talking to them....

i highly doubt they're anywhere close to those in the US. i've been to the vast majority of clubs in the north and i can safely say they suck. i haven't been to the rest but judging from the pics, they're pretty low. as for the girls some are cute but most are typical eastern european white trash. as to talking to them they're pretty chill, just other guys are mad funny in albania when they try to hit on girls it's like they're trying to throw insults at them instead of flirting.

Obviously the clubs in the north will suck. I know you're from Shkodra but I hope you understand that Shkodra is 100 years behind Tirana or Durres. Don't get offended at this. I'm from Elbasan myself and the nightlife there is non-existent too. The clubs in Albania (read Tirana and the coast) are pretty nice and unlike the US you will see more girls than guys. But the problem is that you can't talk to them. They're not chill. They will barely even respond to anything you say. And maybe it's because of what you say. They're used to the regular guys who don't know how to flirt and this is their way to protect them.

thats part of the problem, its weird how they don't even try all they say is:
"barazimi ne xhep"....however i fail to see how going home alone and jerking off to digi-porn-previews is a tie

I think its also cause they don't really drink at all, we all know alcohol is necessary and they would rather sip on juice or coffee(at midnight). this could be cause they can't afford it although i am not sure. Also if they hook up the girls are called whores so the whole thing is rather complicated.

On the bright side, the nightlife scene is relatively new in albania and its rapidly changing.

I am heading over next month, after poland and hungary it will probably not look so good. But i will provide a fair report on the scene.


I am enjoying the pics, we have some beautiful places and women. I am interested to know more about the beachclubs. The one last summer i was in was tropikal in durres...jailbait.

Well it is true that Pristina has better night life than Tirana. My ex was from Tirana and I was not so satesfied with night life there...when in another hand Pristina has long experience with bringing famous DJ's...some of them even perform on MTV.
