I thought that was the current name (based on the local PH thread title that the moderators changed a while back).

This has always been planned to be Metrobank's new HQ with Grand Hyatt occupying the topmost floors but PRs simply named it Grand Hyatt Hotel Manila so that became the accepted name. Somebody mentioned it's called Metrobank Center without providing a verifiable link however the PH mods still changed the local thread title anyway, until this new PR came out confirming that it is called Metrobank Financial Center.

Anyway, Federal Land could be pulling off a BurjK-style PR here lol, keeping mum about its intended height forcing many to find info from the internet and insider leaks.

Apparently it has been "Metrobank Financial Center" for a while now.

Here's a snippet from the Metrobank Foundation (their corporate social arm) web page back in 2014 for an interior design competition that they sponsored meant for their public "observation deck gallery" on the 61st floor of this building.

Quote:
In line with the country’s development goals for iconic structures and eco-friendly places, the Interior Design Competition is a fusion of touristic, evocative and breath-taking spaces that bind Filipino pride with architecture of the highest venue for arts and design. In partnership with the Philippine Institute of Interior Designers (PIID), the Competition challenges 25 to 45 years old interior designers to design the interiors of the 61st floor of the proposed Metrobank Financial Center. The space will primarily serve as an Observation Deck Gallery that is envisioned to be a tourist destination because of the panoramic view from the highest man-made elevation.

The structure will house the Grand Hyatt Hotel, that when completed, will be the tallest free-standing building in the country. It will be located in the most progressive Central Business District in Metro Manila, Bonifacio Global City in Taguig, developed by Federal Land and Orix Corporation of Japan.

Here's the grand prize winning interior design concept by Rowena Garcia called "Edge of High" for the public observation deck
and lounge located high up within this building's crown.

I hope they will allow access as well to the open area around the crown with the parapet.
