On the topic of helitours above Manchester, here's a nice little clip showing some good views at the start (albeit quite old cause City Tower hasn't been reclad). You'll probably learn a thing or two about industry & slums in 1800s Manchester, too!

I first saw Chesterfield's famous church in 1958 on my first railway journey to Newcastle. It was blackened with soot! Re the photograph, don't you find the number of vacant lots used for parking a bit depressing?
