it just happened on Monday. Luckily this was not the CCTV headquarter case, people passing by saw the lights in the building were still on last night, so the damage should not be serious.

But there have been multiple fire accidents during construction in China, safety measurements should be taken to prevent disastrous results.

Yes, the smoke seemed not too bad. CCTV was a very bad fire!

Maybe it is controlled fire for safety testing. This is done often for example in tunnel construction before they are opened. In any case, looks like it wasnt a big deal since it did not leave any mark on the cladding.

Quite odd and scary how the building on the left is completely dark except that side section. Wonder if the blue bars will change colours?

Very unique lighting design. This building will stand out in Lujiazui in both daytime and night time.
