magnificent, hopefully they won't do something silly and building something right in front of these two beauties. Also, i can't wait for the lighting scheme to begin. I still hoped that this was built further up near Oriental Pearl area, looks too nice to be on the side

Looks like the construction has really stopped, the crane hasnt moved in position from the photo in zorg's post.

Constructions contribute at least 50% of the "dirtiness" in shanghai. Government wants to give foreign visitors are good impressions. Although i dont think installing the cladding would affect the environment much =/

Does that mean we can forget about checking updates on this building as well as all other buildings in Shanghai until after Expo? (except Shanghai Tower I think)

No - they still seem to work, just compare the following picture with the previous one. The cladding is up a bit and the cranes have also moved :-)

In that case I'm guessing they worked their asses off trying to get as much structural work completed before the expo, so they'd have enough other stuff to do the next few months, like cladding etc
