I hope that Mayor Park lets this one through. Although he'd be fair to say that any low-income residents of the area to be redeveloped need accommodation or decent compensation, I think part of the reason Seoul's real estate market is messed up (aside from crazy jeonse prices) is the lack if recent, major residential developments. Yeouido could certainly use the development (and some narrower, more pedestrian-friendly streets), even if these new designs are fairly conservative and inexpensive looking.
