Good job Palmesano! I just toured a friend from Montevideo here in my city and its great to see the his city from the internet. My only complaint is that South America is so far away (I wish it was a lot closer)!

thanks!  yes, this far, but very many Uruguayans travel to the U.S. every year, so certainly some year you will be able to travel to Uruguay and know the country

Nice thread, nice photos. I think that Montevideo is maybe a little underrated...it certainly looks richer than many other cities in South America. It also seems to have nice beaches and nice nature around the city, which to me is important.....

yes, Montevideo is a great city, but obviosly 50 years of regression have left the city marked, but nowadays is changing thankfully, there are many restorations, new urban plans and many people out of poverty, so the city is reviving.
