Totally random thought but with how scoreboards are progressing with video boards now being part of the outfield walls in many parks will we ever see the Green Monster turned into a giant video wall? I think it would be a huge mistake but I also kind of think it is inevitable.

The backlash would be overwhelming. Plus, you would have to come up with a new nickname. You wouldn't be able to call it the "Green Monster" anymore.

It's highly unlikely that MLB would ever allow it, as it's right at field level and would be a major distraction to the players.

Maybe not the whole wall, but I could see the oldfashioned manual scoreboard being replaced by an LED board.
