Great find Baba T...The timeline for completion of sports complex is before Dec 2010 to accomodate the swim meet one suspects held between 15 to 19 Dec? No mention of completion date otherwise...

Curious to know why cancel the FIFA world swimming championships which were scheduled for 2013?

Great to see so many workers, with so many, no problems in completing...wonder if any can be used to complete the rest of Sports City, wouldn't that be welcoming.

Yep great find. have just left a sarcastic comment on their comments page to the effect that they should put the same effort into DSC and get the project finished. They want to be the sports capital of the world ,,,at the moment they are the complete opposite..a laughing stock.

Don't think there is much infrastructure in DSC let alone metro station.

No Metro and from what I could see, probably never will be. There may be a line going past DSC, shuttling people air-side, non-stop between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and the new Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC)...
