Youre welcome
Its even nice to hear that you passed the area quickly that is because generally tourists never even visit these parts of the city at least you passed from here. Mainly tourists only stick into historical peninsula, spend too much money just to see Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque Topkapi Palace...oh and other tourists around them

They turn back to their home without seeing hidden gems, known avenues, events, festivals and nonstop city life.

Anyway the last part of my tour(apart from night pictures)

Let's start with close shots from some of Kadiköy’s historical buildings. There are many wooden houses around...

This is historical Osmanaga mosque… dates back to 1600’s

More street scenes and urban life. Also Kadikoy is famous with its ivy covered narrow streets.

Fish Market area... actually its quite historical place

Fish restaurants are empty at noon but probably they will be full at night

Again random pics from streets

Towards Kadiköy’s quay area

At the quay area

This is Haldun Taner Theater building. Haldun Taner was a Turkish playwright and he is founder of famous Ostrich Cabaret Theater

Here is the historical dock of Besiktas ferries(Besiktas is another district of Istanbul located in European side)

People prefer to wait the ferry outside of the dock.

Greenpeace members try to find more voluntaries…

Probably a ferry has just arrived.

Photos were taken at Monday. It was close to “work off “ time and the traffic started to get busier

Lastly I want to share a photo of Haydarpasa train station which is located just near of Kadiköy district.

The tour will end with night photos later...

Lets walk around on a Monday night at Kadikoy…

Like I said before, the district is full with open air fish restaurants, cafes and bars… even in weekdays people enjoy the streets at late night. Foreigners always surprise of Istanbul’s dynamism that is because people never sleep…

These are my last pictures of the tour.. enjoy streets

Youngsters prefer beer houses instead of raki and fish

They prefer sleeping

Lets walk around quiet streets…

Bahariye street at night

and so many taxis are waiting their customers…

Thats all I have… Im glad to hear your sincere comments

One of my favourite megacities. It is metropolis and village at the same time! Great. You have chosen a very beautiful part of the city!
