Google Maps and Street View Manchester

Anyone seen the car?
Looks like this is you dont know what i'm talking about.

It will come in very useful when someone on here is talking about a building and none of us know what the **** they are talking about (usually comdot).

May also be useful for spotting fit birds around town.

I had a look at the Tour de France one... it's brilliant. But they blur all the faces out so you can't tell whether they are fit or not. I guess it's gonna be a shit job for someone if the camera works city centre rush hours then...

Hopefully the car will drive down Store Street and confirm once and for all that Piccadilly Tower is getting built.

Spotted the Google Streetview car on the A56/Chester Road heading north past the Stretford Arndale, sorry, Stretford Mall, on Saturday. Tin foil hats at the ready everyone.

I saw it whizzing along Great Ancoats St past the top of Oldham St towards Victoria a good couple of weeks ago.

I didn't think to raise it at the time and now I feel like a fool, a fool I tell you!

Cheers

Thom

I was wondering whether to suggest in that other thread that Longford should replace Tony Wilson as Mr Manchester, rather than Terry Christian.

This display of his awesome powers has confirmed that he is the only man for the job.

I was born in Macclesfield so perhaps that works against my nomination.
Like many of my kin Anthony H was born in Salford though so i suppose i can still squeeze in eh?

With regards taking the job of Mr Manchester - With great power comes great responsibility. I dont know if i want either.
