BUDAPEST [2] - hkskyline's Euro 2007 Tour (Cloudy Pest)

1. Continuing with my walking tour of Pest, I noticed some monuments worthy of more exploration on a clearer day.

4. Since the weather isn't so good, I focussed on the architectural colours and details.

15. A new glassy building looks a bit out of place. At least it's not a huge skyscraper!

29. During the walk along a pedestrianized street, we noticed an inner courtyard of surprises.

Budapest is gorgeous! One of the most beautiful cities in Europe, no doubt about this! The magnificence of its old buildings is impressive! Thanks for sharing these pics! They're really nice!

You could show me pictures of many of those buildings and if you would tell me its from Vienna, chances are high I would believe you. Astonishing how familiar it looks there.

Budpest is a great city. Unlike Vienna it also has a great setting aroundt the danube and not just next to it.
