@Kaicae

You mean the first planned city in the Republic of Korea, right? Our ancestors built many planned cities, so we must not misunderstand.

Anyway, the city looks beautiful. Great shots!!!

Exactly. Old Seoul was planned and built under direct influence of Gaesong city, according to the book "고려의 황도 개경(Gaesong, the Imperial City of Koryo Dynasty)". And in fact, the capitals of Three Kingdoms, Palhae, and Later Three Kingdoms were planned too, although many of them have been destroyed.
Further archaeological investigation will reveal more ancient planned cities.

BTW, did you guys know that even Kanghwa Island was actually a planned city and most of the land of the island was reclaimed from the sea? The reclamation was done by Koryo, Joseon, and the Republic of Korea. The original size of the island was unblievably small!!!

Changwon is actually very nice.It is not ugly at all. There is a lot of greenery in Changwon, and it is fairly clean as well as being very nice to drive in die to streets wider than highways.

Last week I was in Korea for business again. I had to take care of a few things in Seoul and go to a meeting. Well everything had ended early and I decided to take a look around Korea. Took a tour through the country side, and went to all the major cities. Well things came up with the company so I was recruited to find a place for next years annual International Corporate Summary Conference, which is a long convention for all the whole company. Well I decided to go to Busan one day and look at Bexco I think its called to check availability status and my overall opinion of the building, location, and what it had to offer. I loved it, but it just wasn't what I was looking for. Well I was driving on my way to some city, I had to go meet someone. Well I was in Changwon because I needed a break. I was hungry and needed food. Well I decided to look around the city. What a beautiful city. It was Metropoli mixed with Suburban. What an amazing city. The Korean's really know how to plan a city. Well so it happens I was jsut about to leave when I went by some new construction site. I found out that it was the Changwon Convention Center. I talked to some people there and found out the final completion date and details about the building. I was given pictures and sketches about it. It was just what I was looking for. Well I went to the office there and before I knew it I just booked next years conference. Changwon is an amazing city. I don't know why more people go there. I thought it was marvelous. Just so different from the rest of Korea and it was just a city of uniqueness. I've lived and done business in many different countries and cities, and let me tell you Changwon was a city of it's own. I would love to go again, and yet I AM...

Changwon 창원 Pics

Changwon is one of major cities in South Gyeongsang Province.
With a City Seven Xi, the city gets more interesting and diverse scenes.
Let's get collection of the city pics. I'll post random pics of it first.
