Sint-Truiden!!! beautifull place. my girlfriend is from there! haha. we meet in hasselt, but we live in Madrid now.
About the best sistem in the world......I am not that sure about that....first of all you pay for it....if u cut your finger with a knife and you need to go to hospital you have to take the credit card with you...even if after several month the goverment pay you back some money.

about regionaal hospital...is quite old hospital, I was there once as my sister in law gave birth there. And i got quite surprise with it, they should rebuilt it completly as didn´t change anything in the last 20 years.

to check the best health sistems in the world i suggest you to check the number of transpalts per country, number of foreing people attended and of course if they are free or not!!!!!!!

A part of the new wing that replaced the oldest part of the hospital of Sint-Truiden When completed the hospital will have around 400 beds, now there are 310 beds. It's not a big hospital but on yealy basis the hospital registered : 11.000 patients that stayed for several days/weeks, 12.500 patients that stayed only one day, 17.000 emergencies, 12.500 operations, around 600 births, 100.000 consultations.
