One thing is clear - It is all happening in the city: apartments, scooters, café bars, live/work loft space. The urban renaissance has opened the door for a generation of café-dwelling, scooter-riding, European-city-breaking out of a diverse population to live the urban lifestyle without needing to be a stock exchange high flyer. Has no one ever heard of regeneration chic? Suburbia is so 20th Century. |

Walking past Charlotte Towers a few days ago, I noticed that it seems alot 'bulkier' than Festival. So it should make quite a good impact on the skyline.

Good to see we should have another darker looking building in the CBD. They are few and far between.
I don't want to jump in too early like I did with Bris Sq but this is looking good. |

just so i can work out height when it approaches it.

thanks. went up a floor today. so i guess lev18 in box.
the energex bldg is 80m,and core is currently equal to 6 energex levels below LMR, so about 60m high. cheers

Couple more from today.
First one is looking down Charlotte Street at the side of the building. I guess they figure that there will be a redevelopment of the adjacent carpark at some time in the future. ![]()
