I hope to see a report like this from RO-BG Snupix (as you said you intend to do), you'll have lots and lots of gorgeus places to shoot with your camera.

Thank you Snupix for sharing these wonderfull expirience with us.Judging by your photos your journey was really worth to take.Scenery is really amazing and road infrastructure is much better than I expected.
At the end what are your overall impresions about the countries and people you've visited?
PS What are prices?Where was costliest and where cheapest?

PPS Great report once again

Thank you all

I was mostly impressed with Albania because they're really obviously moving forward (ofcourse, it's still one of the poorest european countries and you can see that). I think the problem is the mentality of the people, because I've seen several times people throwing trash out of the car (plastic bottles) through the window - and Albania would look so much more better if it were cleaner... Nevertheless, all the Albanians I met were really one of the nicest people I know.

About the prices, they are, let's say, 20% cheaper than Croatia, which is more than you would expect... I mean the prices in cafes and so... Don't know about the food and the rest. Rooms seem to be cheap.

And yeas, Albania drives very good cars, better than other countries (exc. GR), it's probably because they have cars only in the last 15 yrs so there are no old cars on the roads... And Mercedes is the official brand

The most expensive on the trip was definitely Croatia and Greece, but I haven't stayed long in Greece to know in detail... Cheapest... Hard to say, maybe Macedonia, but they're all close.
I did eat barbecue (roštilj/skara) in a local bar/restaurant in Macedonia near the Alb. border for a very good price - two meals (ćevapi/chicken and so), 3 beers, coca-cola, salad, pommes frittes, all for around 9€.. But well, that was in the village...

For example, a cocktail in a fancy cafe in Skopje costs around 4€, which is more than 2 times cheaper than the ones in HR... And so...

P.s. we didn't pay motorways in Greece, I guess they're free?

The Egnatia Motorway hasn't yet tolls, but until the end of the project there will be 13 toll stations across 670km of the main axis (and the circa 300km of the vertical axes). The southernmost Athens-Thessaloniki motorway has toll-stations, but from what I saw from your map you passed only from a small part of Greece (btw, loosing the city of Ioannina was kind of mistake ).

generally for Russia we need visas, but if you go with plane from Zagreb to Moscow and don't intend to go out of city, you don't need it, guarantee letter is enough

Tirana-Elbasan-Pogradec-Korca-Greek border is not planned as a motorway in Albania. It operates as a highway, somewhere with 3 lanes. But the road between Korca and Pogradec is still in bad shape, although an upgrade is going to be made soon.
Here is a map of the Greek motorways: in red are operating motorways, in green motorways u/c (the part you show in your picture is almost ready to be commissioned).
Another motorway in Greece between the Egnatia (A2) is going to be built via Kalampaka, Trikala to Lamia (in greeen: the so-called Central Greek motorway).
