Let's try to keep this thread alive , good idea. The Promenade looks good , it would add a lot to that area , let's hope it gets built.

there's a development off of windsor mill road called "karen place". it looks like it's just about done. there's also a HUGE extension of it going on right across the street.

Never even heard of the Promenade at catonsville before today. weird.
Looks great though, I'd like to see that get built. More and More projects like that are springing up throughout the baltimore suburbs

Yes, Catonsville deserves this. I guess my question with the Promenade proposal is what took so long. I would consider it one of the biggest suburbs in Baltimore County.

That lake will be about 500 feet deep when it's full. We need our own version of the Loch Ness monster to stimulate some interest.

I have to admit, not only am I not much of a suburbanite, but I really don't houses where the main feature of the front is garage doors. Those things ought to be hidden out of sight and also....where's the holly trees or the ridge? I only see Leyland Cypresses.

I agree, the garage should be hidden away, not right on the front of the house.

I like the neighborhoods where the garages are hidden away behind the house and have access via an alleyway.

hmmm, really? i've always looked at garages on the front of a house as a contributing factor to a house having that "home feel".

It's too much like the sprawled-out parts of California and we don't even have palm trees. What's homey about a garage door and grease-dripped driveway?

When will Baltimore County hit 1,000,000, im saying in about 25 year's but if Towson turn's into a cooparate city with lot's of HQ's then it could be sooner but it would have to be known. Right now to tell the truth Maryland only has one really known city so people think that it's all about Baltimore in Maryland, so if Towson can get big enough maybe we can get a 2nd known city. But in the cooparate world Maryland is very known.
