Very nice, would love to visit. I think some of my fiance's family is from nearby so maybe someday.

Interesting that someone cares about Depeche Mode enough in 2008 to paint it on a garbage can!

Superb pics of beautiful sections of the city.

I love Vilnius.

What is the procession of the Chrysler 300's? Looks very official.

You have Vienna listed as second location, what would you say are the most striking architectural differences between Vilnius and architecture in Austria?

PS: Your pictures truly show a lovely city centre.

The most striking difference for me is the imperialistic feel you get in the old down in Vienna, but that's nothing surprising as Vienna was the capital city of an Empire. Simply wondering through the old town I find endless streets and squares surrounded by majestic buildings whereas in Vilnius the feeling is rather different; everything is much smaller and for me- cozier.

Can it be that the feeling is very similar to the old town of Bratislava?

Personally I did not find Bratislava to have that affect on me...
