That is a good idea, but I don't think the Department that protects historic buildings will go alone with the idea. That department is the INA Instituto Nacional de Antropologia ( National Institute of Anthropology)

I agree with you, but there are so many places like the Post Office in México City. Possible tomorrow I will put some pics of Gran Hotel México City that was utilized like you suggested, it is a building constructed about the same time.

Wow, those interiors are gorgeous! The detail is amazingly good... They don't build them like this anymore! When in México these are a must see! No doubt there are many more such as these as well.

You are right about it, and show the real México City I am going to stay in this city a long time to show all the beauty in these great city. One thing for sure I won't ever live in that city, is just too large for me. 26 million people are way too many, I mean the Metropolitan area.
