definitely a world class building.

It would be the case in Shanghai, HK, Chicago, or New York and it IS the same case in Oklahoma City.

There is no need to diss the building because of where it is located. It is world class all the way - just look at the price tag, for example. (and keep in mind, this price in OKC buys a HECK of a lot more than ANY of the aformentioned cities).

OKC may not be too world class of a city overall (it is making strides to get better however), but Devon Tower in downtown OKC is definitely world class.

For those from outside America--this city has been there for only 123 years.

Not bad for that length of time.

OKC does pretty well for itself. Especially when it comes to the economy right now....

Yes. I don't know how much of it's completed floor-wise. But the first floor is open to the general public. The top floor restaurant's opening is another month or two away I think.

All of the employees should be moved in by the end of this month. I believe the executive offices will be completed later, although they are already moved into the building into a temp location. The resturant at the top will open by late September, early October, I believe.

That "thing" at the base reminds me of a subwoofer somehow.
Cool looking tower, a bit too tall for the skyline tho, makes all the other buildings look way smaller.

It's PERFECT for the skyline Any building that can make a 500ft building look small is my kind of building

Eventually I'm sure a few more buildings in between the height of Devon and the next tallest building will get built. Then the city center will look excellent.

The LED lighting should be all tested and finished soon--and will be MUCH brighter than these test photos.

I believe that portion of the Center was designed by Bose.
